Optikey Chat

Optikey Chat is a full-screen app for literate communication.

Users can type using either a full QWERTY keyboard (or its equivalent in other languages), or a simplified version with fewer keys if their eye gaze accuracy requires it (this option is not currently available in all languages).

Optikey Chat incorporates predictive text and reads out your typed responses. You can even 'swipe' over a word with your eyes to input entire words and phrases in a single selection.

If you separately install the Presage auto-completion engine alongside Optikey, you can also get next-word prediction for English, Italian or Spanish languages.

As with all Optikey apps, Optikey Chat supports over 25 languages and counting. It will display a keyboard appropriate for your chosen language and will use any Microsoft SAPI voice installed on your PC for speech. See Speech for more details.
